WHY PAY MORE FOR A PET PUPPY
THE HEALTH OF THE PUPPY IS GUARANTEED.
The professional breeder has a good reputation to
maintain. The goal is to produce beautiful and sound specimens, which we are
proud to own and sell. We aim towards the betterment of the breed. Profit if
any goes towards future breedings and towards the health and quality of the
breed. Including Handler’s fees, new equipment, health testing and Feeding
the highest quality of diet. If the puppy is sold as a pet, the puppy will
be sold with a limited registration and a non-breeding agreement. Puppies
are raised in a busy part of the house where they are socialized, touched,
talked to, cuddled with love and care.
This is a hobby that I love so much. I feel those who are
seeking pets deserve nothing less than good quality, healthy and loving
animal. As well as a breeder they can count on.
Before breeding takes place, both male and female had testing
including hip x-rays, elbow x-rayed. The breeder is well aware of the
genetic problems to which the breed is predisposed and uses no animal for
breeding unless it is clear of defects.
The sire and Dam come from top quality
breeding stock with selective and knowledgeable breeding. They meet the
requirement of the American Kennel Club written standard for Conformation
and temperament of the breed. Each has a pedigree, which has been
researched and studied.
These dogs have been selected to breed to each other because
they complement each other.
There are two set of pricing
American Kennel Club Limited registration which there are no breeding rights
is a lesser price pup is strictly a pet
American Kennel Club Full registration is with full registration including
breeding rights will cost the buyer more
Pups at a lesser cost can cost much more
in the long run.
The dam of the litter could of been
purchased from a puppy mill breeder. No doubt suffered the first year of her
life with intestinal parasites. Neither owner of sire or dam knows the
standard of the breed or the pedigree background. The breeder is totally
unaware of the genetic problems within the breed. Trips to Veterinarian,
except for dire emergencies or yearly shots, are considered to be too
expensive. The breeder hopes to make money off the sale of puppies and keeps
expenses down. Puppies are sold with no guarantee. Puppies are often born in
a box, in the garage and receive little care other than what the mother
gives. To cut costs they are weaned on generic dog food and allowed to nurse
on the mother as long as possible to keep food bills down. The bitch’s
health declines rapidly due to poor health and some pups are weak and runty.
They are sold as quick as possible because advertising and vaccines are
expensive. You pay around $300.00 but your veterinarian cost to bring your
new pup to good health standards could run in excess over the cost of a pup
from a reputable breeder.
There fore you actually spend more for less. |
